Global Collaboration Day
September 21, 2017

Today, our class participated in Global Collaboration Day. The primary goals of this whole day event are to demonstrate the power of global connectivity in classrooms, schools, institutions of informal learning and universities around the world, and to introduce learners to the tools, resources and projects that are available to students and educators today.  Our class participated in a GeoBlitz FlipGrid exchange - who knew you could combine the topic of candy and geography into a fun learning activity.  It was a great way to experience the power of global connectivity, learn new ways to connect with other learners, practice good digital citizenship and improve upon our listening and speaking skills.  We're looking forward to a year filled with global collaboration experiences!
